    Benton County Fire crews battling blaze along HWY14 Tuesday morning

    BENTON CO., Wash. -- Benton County Fire District 6 is battling a fire that is threatening a winery and several outbuilding along HWY14.

    The winery being threatening is the Canoe Ridge Vineyard and some crops are also at risk.

    Officials said the call for help came in just before 10 a.m. Tuesday morning near milepost 156 on westbound HWY14.

    BCFD6 Officials said several agencies are assisting battling the fire including aerial support dumping water from the Columbia River on the blaze.

    Apple Valley News Now has a crew on scene to gather more information.

    Our crew on scene said the fire is spreading towards the westbound lanes. Officials said the fire has burned around 200 to 400 acres of land.

    Officials said all roads are still open but Washington State Patrol is on scene alerting travelers.

    This incident is now known as the Canoe Ridge Fire.

    Fire officials said the fire may begin to threaten Klickitat County's Big Horn fire which has burned more than 50,000 acres.

    No evacuations have been issued at this time.
