SPRING, Texas — A 23-year-old Houston man was arrested after allegedly fleeing on foot during a traffic stop, leaving a small child in his vehicle, authorities said. On July 2, 2024, around 3 p.m., a deputy from Constable Ryan Gable's Criminal Interdiction Unit observed a dark Chevrolet four-door vehicle committing an equipment and moving violation on Sawdust Road near IH-45 in Spring. After activating emergency lights and siren, the vehicle fled, prompting a pursuit, according to a statement from the department.
