Man Fatally Shot in Houston Gas Station Parking Lot
HOUSTON, Texas - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 6225 Chimney Rock Road around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. The identity of the victim, believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. According to the Houston Police Department (HPD) Homicide Division Detectives A. Vinogradov and D. Crowder, HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in a gas station parking lot at the aforementioned address and discovered an unresponsive male with gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the man deceased. A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim got into an altercation with three suspects, described only as black males in their late teens, and was subsequently shot. HOUSTON, Texas - Charges have been filed against two suspects wanted in a shooting incident at 10630 Beechnut Street around 11:10 p.m. on July 26. The suspects, 19-year-old Dontarious Millender and 19-year-old Noah Humphries, both of Houston, Texas, are charged with burglary with intent to commit a felony in the 178th State District Court.
