Crime Stoppers, Houston police offer $5,000 reward for information on Brittany Guidry’s killer
Crime Stoppers of Houston and the Houston Police Department will hold a press conference today to request public assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of Brittany Guidry. Investigators will update the public on the case and family members will speak to the media today at 10 a.m.
HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED EARLY TUESDAY
A Houston man was arrested early Tuesday on drug charges. Brenham Police report that early Tuesday morning at 2:55, Officer Grayson Marburger observed a vehicle stalled in the lane of travel in the 2000 block of Highway 36 North. Contact was made with the driver, Jerry Restrepo, 20 of Houston. K-9 assistance was requested and Washington County Constable Rolling responded to the scene. The K-9 alerted on the vehicle at which time a probable cause search was conducted. Suspected narcotics were located inside the vehicle and Restrepo was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was transported to the jail and booked in without incident.
