Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Rockvale four-star safety Jaylan Morgan is the next domino to fall in the Class of 2025.
Morgan has four programs left on his board. Georgia joins Florida, Ole Miss and Mississippi State as the finalists for the No. 252 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings.
Morgan took five official visits this June. He visited Florida (May 31), Ole Miss (June 7), Mississippi State (June 14) and Georgia (June 21).
On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine has Georgia as the leader going into decision day. The Bulldogs have a 66.9 percent chance of landing the four-star safety.

What has he said about Georgia?
Morgan has been on campus twice this summer alone. He attended Georgia’s scavenger hunt in May. He returned for his official visit in June.
Georgia made a major impression on Morgan. Morgan’s culture has been a major selling point for the speedy defensive back.
“How competitive the spirit was everybody was getting after it even though it was something as little as a scavenger hunt and building teamwork skills with other recruits and coaches was a highlight for sure,” Morgan told DawgsHQ after the scavenger hunt.
The two visits made an impact on Morgan.
“Those visits were different,” Morgan said last week. “When I visited Georgia they had specific activities for us to do. It caught my eye. The scavenger hunt, I hadn’t seen anything like that before. I thought that was a good way to see how the coaches coaching styles were. You got to see how competitive they are. I think that Georgia has something strong going for them. They preach the vision of their program and I love that.”
The Big Picture
Landing Morgan would be a major addition to the 2025 class for Georgia. The Bulldogs have one defensive back committed already (4-star Todd Robinson).
Georgia landed an elite class in the secondary in 2024. Ellis Robinson, KJ Bolden and Demello Jones were all five stars. Ondre Evans came in just outside the top-100.
Morgan is not ranked as high as those players coming out of high school but Georgia has thrived developing speedy, physical secondary men to compliment the surefire, instant impact players.
Morgan’s speed makes him the perfect fit in any of the three safety slots in Georgia’s defensive backfield.
