The Atlanta Braves and Colorado Rockies both desperately need a win in game one of this series at Coors Field.

The Braves are 60-54 and out of playoff position for the first time this season after losing five in a row at home, including getting swept by the Milwaukee Brewers most recently. At 42-74, the Rockies have the worst record in the National League and have lost four of their last five, including the last two at home versus the New York Mets.

Both squads are looking to rookie right-handed starters to get back in the win column. For the Braves, Grant Holmes (0-0, 3.00) is making his third big-league start. For the Rockies, Tanner Gordon (0-3, 6.75) is making his fourth start in the MLB.

Both guys are hoping for their first major-league wins to help revive their respective clubs.
