With the Pittsburgh Steelers trailing 17-0 in the third quarter, they needed to get something going. And it didn't long before backup quarterback Kyle Allen got things cooking with a big 24-yard pass play to Calvin Austin III.

After a holding penalty backed the Steelers up, Allen connected with receiver Jaray Jenkins for another 16 yards and a first down.

While the next two plays went backward, putting the Steelers in a second-and-17, another big 25-yard completion put Pittsburgh into the red zone.

Four plays later, Allen connected with tight end Connor Heyward for four yards and the Steelers' first touchdown of the preseason.
