AUG 10 TO BETTER DAYS Before Ja Morant ruined the 2023-24 Memphis Grizzlies season due to a plethora of questionable decisions, the high-flying point guard significantly impacted the court. Morant turns 25 on Saturday. In celebration, one of his fans reminisced by posting a video recalling a bright moment in Morant's career.

During the 2022 NBA championship campaign, the Warriors ran into the young and feisty Grizzlies. Full of heated moments, a massive blowout, and an injury to Morant, the Grizzlies' All-Star exploded for 47 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. Ultimately, the Warriors took the series 4-2. However, only two years ago, Morant helped push the eventual NBA champions to a six-game series, reminding fans of the Grizzlies' potential.

AUG 9 NEW LINEUP? Team USA head coach Steve Kerr, prepping for the gold medal match set for this Saturday against France, will reportedly shake up his starting lineup.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Team USA is expected to move Kevin Durant into the starting lineup for the finale while moving Jrue Holiday, who started in the semifinals against Serbia, to the bench.

That would make the starting lineup Devin Booker, Steph Curry, Joel Embiid and LeBron James as Team USA gets ready to take on France and Victor Wembanyama of the Spurs.

AUG 6 ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST Kevin Durant needs rest. As the Phoenix Suns nears Lisa Leslie's all-time scoring record at the Olympic Games, it's understandable for Durant to find time for a quick nap. During a much-needed break leading up to Team USA's quarterfinals, Durant made the mistake of falling asleep in the presence of teammates.

Bam Adebayo took a picture of an open-mouthed Durant.

Since the picture surfaced on the net, many social media users offered jokes to continue the image's momentum. One user used a simple rhythm by switching "Slim Reaper" to "Slim Sleeper."
