Kevin Durant is one of the greatest players in basketball history. Often, it feels like he does not get the credit that he deserves because his two Championship rings came after he joined forces with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green at the Golden State Warriors.

They had already tasted Championship success. Durant had not. It was a 'join them if you can't beat them' move. One that ended up benefiting all parties.

Durant has enjoyed tremendous success at the international level too. He was part of Team USA as they clinched gold at the Olympics again.

In the process, Durant became the first player to win four Olympic gold medals in men’s basketball.

Not just that. Durant is also the all-time leading scorer at the Olympics. He is USA Basketball’s all-time leader in field goals, free throws and 3-pointers made too. Quite the resume.

Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat got to see Durant's greatness up close, as he was also part of Team USA in Paris.

Adebayo certainly holds his Team USA teammate in high regard. According to Andscape , the Miami Heat star said about Durant: "He has put the stamp on being the greatest Olympian.

“He has imprinted his name at the top."

Just think of the names that have represented Team USA at the Olympics over the years. Michael Jordan. LeBron James. Magic Johnson. Larry Bird. Kobe Bryant. The list goes on. Yet, it is hard to make a case against Durant being the greatest in national team colors.

Hopefully, we get to see Durant in a Heat uniform one day. He has been linked with a move to Miami on more than one occasion, even earlier this summer.

Considering how things are going for the Phoenix Suns at the moment, it would not be a surprise if Durant starts eyeing a change of scenery soon. If he is not already.
