Where Does Bucky Irving Rank Among NFL's Handcuff RBs?

The RB2 spot has more value in today's NFL than it ever has, as those guys can come in for a few downs and take some pressure off of the starter.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report's Maurice Moton , he ranks every NFL team's handcuff running back ahead of the season, and he has Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie Bucky Irving at No. 22 on the list.

"With potential improvements on the interior of the offensive line, Rachaad White and rookie fourth-rounder Bucky Irving could be a viable backfield duo in new offensive coordinator Liam Coen's offense," Moton writes. "Though White and Irving have overlapping qualities in their skill sets, Irving could see the field in obvious passing situations."

White was solid this past season for the Buccaneers, but his efficiency on the ground left a bit to be desires, and Irving could take some of the pressure off of him.

In his junior season at Oregon, Irving finished with 1180 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground. But he was also able to get it done through the air, tallying two touchdowns and 413 yards in the passing game.

He and White have very similar skillsets, but having another running back to worry about could take some of the workload off of the latter and make him more efficient.
