Madden 25 will finally be released this Friday, but one person who likely will not be rushing to buy it is Las Vegas Raiders defensive back Jack Jones.

The 26-year-old Raiders defensive weapon learned that his rating on Madden is just 74. That is not high. It is not even average. Over 70 more cornerbacks are ranked ahead of Jones in terms of Madden 25 ratings. Jones found his rating hard to swallow, as he let everyone know how much he despises it on Wednesday.

"Oh my goodness," Jones said when asked about his rating (via Vegas Sports Today).

"They crazy. I don't even got nothing to say to them. they crazy... 74? ... How many interceptions I've got? Four? That's the record for the most touchdowns in 20 games, or 22 games. Let's start there."

If Jones needed any more motivational fuel for the coming 2024 NFL season, he got it with that rating from Madden 25.

Jones is coming off an intriguing 2023 season where he played for the New England Patriots and the Raiders. He was let go by the Patriots in November of 2023 before he got claimed off waivers by the Raiders.

Through his first two seasons in the pros, Jones has collected four interceptions to go with three defensive touchdowns. He also has 11 passes defended and a forced fumble through 25 games in the NFL. For what it’s worth, Jones got a solid 71.6 overall grade from Pro Football Focus for his work in 2023.
