While 2023 was a struggle that many people planned to see, the 2024 season is expected to be a pivotal year for the Carolina Panthers and second-year quarterback Bryce Young, the former No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

So far, it doesn't seem as if things are going very well, though.

We are a couple of weeks into training camp now, and the struggles of Young are well-documented. A lot of reports coming from practice tell of the former Alabama Crimson Tide Heisman winner throwing multiple interceptions in practice and being forced to run sprints afterward.

For Panthers fans who were hoping that Year 2 would be when Young could turn things around and start feeling comfortable in the Carolina system, it as been a rough turn of events.

The despair reached a fever pitch on Wednesday when reports of multiple interceptions came from Carolina, with at least one of them going the other way for a touchdown. Here's how fans reacted to the news:

Of course, struggles during training camp don't necessarily mean that Young will continue to have success evade him once the season starts, but it certainly doesn't portend to a breakout Year 2.

It could be another long and depressing season in Carolina.
