Braves Announce 2025 Spring Training Schedule, Including Home Game for Spring Breakout Prospect Matchup

The Atlanta Braves, in conjunction with Major League Baseball, announced the 2025 spring training schedule for the team.

Grapefruit League action starts a bit earlier this season, with the team's first matchup coming in Ft. Myers against the Minnesota Twins on Saturday, February 22nd. The first of fifteen home games in North Port's CoolToday Park comes the following day, Sunday the 23rd, against the Tampa Bay Rays.

All told, the team will play eleven different teams for a total of 32 games across the Grapefruit League schedule. There will be a pair of games each against the Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Twins, Pittsburgh Pirates and Tampa Bay Rays. The Braves will host single games against the Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, Miami Marlins, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays and Washington Nationals.

The newly-minted and well-received "Spring Breakout" prospect exhibition is back for 2025, with the Braves set to host a home game against the top prospects of the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, March 16th. Each team will feature a squad comprised solely of their top prospects in an exhibition game. The Braves prospects dropped last season's matchup 7-2 to the Boston Red Sox prospect squad on the road in Ft. Myers.

Atlanta's final Florida game of the spring schedule will be the following Sunday, March 23rd, versus the Baltimore Orioles. Instead of "heading north" for the season, however, the team will head out west. Atlanta's scheduled to wrap up the spring training schedule with two games against the Chicago Cubs in Mesa, AZ's Sloan Park before starting the season on Thursday, March 27th against the San Diego Padres in Petco Park.

Season tickets and group sales for the 2024 spring season are now available, and individual game tickets will go on sale at a date yet to be determined. A-List and Beach Club Members will receive the first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets.
