What To Know About The Week 2 Las Vegas Raiders-Dallas Cowboys Preseason Game

The Las Vegas Raiders kicked off their 2024 preseason last week with a 24-23 loss to the Minnesota Vikings . They'll take the field for the second time on Saturday Night against the Dallas Cowboys .

The game will take place at 7:00 PM PT, and it will be a home game for the Raiders, at Allegiant Stadium.

The game can be streamed on NFL Network, as well as locally on Fox 5 in Las Vegas. Jason Horowitz, Matt Miller and Rich Gannon will be on the call for NFL Network.

On the Radio, it will be aired on KOMP 92.3 FM and KRLV 920 AM.

This is the second of three exhibition games for the Raiders, and it will be an important one. Earlier this week, head coach Antonio Pierce signaled that he'll hope to be able to name a starting quarterback after this game.

Obviously, that means this will be a massive game for both Aidan O'Connell and Gardner Minshew, with each of them having the chance to earn a starting role .

Against Minnesota, each of them got one quarter of action, so it's reasonable to think the same will happen this time around against Dallas. However, Pierce did mention that he wants them to get an equal amount of opportunities, so they'll likely each play until they reach that amount.

There are some interesting battles to watch elsewhere on the roster too. The Raiders are looking for players to emerge on both the defensive line rotation, as well as the chase to find the team's third option at wide receiver.
