Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever notched their second consecutive win with a victory over the Seattle Storm on Sunday afternoon.

Clark had a run in with the officials early in the third quarter. After smacking the basket stanchion out of frustration with herself, she was assessed her fifth technical foul of the 2024 WNBA season.

Clark was visibly frustrated by this call. And later in the quarter, microphones on the ESPN broadcast captured her candid thoughts about the officiating team.

"They are awful," Clark appeared to say. "As bad as it gets. It's true."

ESPN broadcaster Ryan Ruocco noted Clark's frustrations with the referees.

"Caitlin very frustrated with getting tripped that last possession, coming over to us to discuss that," Ruocco said.

Clark finished the 92-75 win with 23 points, nine assists and five rebounds. In the process, she set the all-time rookie record for assists in a single season.
