The Mike Hall Jr. saga keeps growing. After the Cleveland Browns defensive tackle was arrested last week amid accusations of domestic violence from his fiancé, WKYC in Cleveland reports that Hall Jr.'s accuser has recanted part of her story from the original police report.

In the police report that was filed on Aug. 12, the accuser described an incident where Hall Jr. held a gun to her head and said, "I will (expletive) end it all. I don't care." And that's the part that she has now amended.

The fiancé has now told police she was mistaken when she reported that part of the incident.

According to the police reports, the Lorain County 911 dispatch contacted the Avon Police at about 10:01 p.m. on Monday to request police assistance at a residence - and then the call was "cut off.''

The home in question is apparently that of the mother of Hall's child, and when police called back, they say they spoke with a woman who said Hall "had pushed her daughter (name redacted) and struck her with a baby bottle."

Hall is a second-round draft pick out of Ohio State and is expected to contribute this season as a rotational player on the defensive line.

After the incident, the Cleveland Browns released a statement in response.

“We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall Jr. last night. Mike and his representatives have been in touch with the appropriate authorities. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this time.” the team stated.

This is a developing story and Browns Digest will continue to follow up.
