Duke's Cooper Flagg Signs Major Shoe Endorsement Deal

The number one ranked college basketball player in the class of 2024, Cooper Flagg officially signed a major shoe endorsement deal according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski

Flagg is attending Duke for the upcoming season and is currently the projected number one overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. He's one of the best high school prospects ever, and he made a "close to home" decision.

Flagg has reportedly signed a "significant" shoe endorsement deal with New Balance . The New Balance company was founded near Flagg's home state and played a vital role in the process.

New Balance has a manufacturing company in Skowhegan, Maine, which is just 25 miles from Flagg's hometown of Newport.

"The connection with New Balance as a family company and a company with Maine roots means a lot to me." Flagg told ESPN

This is a massive addition to the New Balance brand, but also the uniqueness of Flagg making a decision outside the norm.

Flagg really caught fire this off-season when clips of him playing against the U.S. men's Olympic team in scrimmages went viral. He was asked to be part of the USA select team, and showed he can hang with the best in the world.

Now, he is set to attend Duke this fall, with the hopes of leading them to a National Championship before entering the NBA Draft the following season if everything continues to go as planned.
