Lee Corso’s First Statement on College GameDay is Going Viral

The beloved Lee Corso is back at the ESPN "College GameDay" set this weekend, and made his season debut with a sly but strong statement on the Notre Dame at Texas A&M game.

Shortly before the actual "College GameDay" broadcast began, Kirk Herbstreit joined the early-morning edition of SportsCenter to discuss the Aggies vs. Irish. However, in the middle of his brief chat with SC, Corso walked up and got his two cents in.

“Notre Dame doesn’t have a chance,” Corso whispered in Herbstreit's ear.

Is that Corso already tipping his eventual pick and the headgear he'll wear? You can never be too sure, because we are talking about a guy who once picked up an SMU cone before tossing it and dropping a curse word on live TV before putting on the other team's mascot head.

Of course, the throng of A&M fans in attendance went nuts over Corso's early prediction and cheered even louder once Herbstreit repeated Corso's message for all to hear. At the same time, perhaps it's some good motivation for the visiting Fighting Irish, who must face off against one of college football's grandest environments.

No. 7 ranked Notre Dame and No. 20 Texas A&M are set to kick-off at 7:30 p.m. ET.
