It's hard to imagine a better start to the Kalen DeBoer era at Alabama as the Crimson Tide earned a dominant victory over Western Kentucky with a 63-0 final score. While there are far tougher opponents on the schedule this fall, it was still a promising debut as the head coach for DeBoer.

Recruits visiting Tuscaloosa this weekend took notice, saying, "Bama is still Bama," according to On3 Vice President Steve Wiltfong. "Alabama is still the standard."

Many people had questioned DeBoer's ability to recruit at an elite level at Alabama, and he's quickly dispelled those concerns. According to 247Sports , the Crimson Tide have the 2nd-ranked recruiting class in the country for the 2025 cycle, and they aren't done adding talent to the group.

Alabama stays home next week, lined as 30.5-point favorites over South Florida on FanDuel Sportsbook . The Crimson Tide won't overlook this opponent after the Bulls gave them all they could handle last season.
