Alabama is preparing for their Week 2 matchup against USF this week, and they hope to provide better results than their last matchup.

In 2023, Alabama visited USF to begin their 'home-and-home' series with the Bulls. The Tide would leave with a win, however it was not pretty.

Jalen Milroe would be benched that game after a crushing loss to Texas the week prior. This was a learning opportunity for Milroe from head coach Nick Saban. After Ty Simpson helped the struggling Tide win the game, a leader in Milroe emerged.

Focusing on the 2024 matchup, Alabama is looking for better results this time. The biggest difference, Milroe will start and have his opportunity to face the Bulls.

While Week 2 games commence on Saturday, Recruits Bama is reporting that a highly talented prospect will be in attendance in Tuscaloosa for his visit. Five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham, from Choctaw County in Ackerman, Mississippi and an Alabama commit, will get to view the campus and watch the Tide in person.

Cunningham committed to the Tide back in July, and his X account has swarmed with his allegiance to his decision. As Cunningham will be in attendance, he will get to view freshman Ryan Williams, his potential receiver duo next year, after his remarkable performance last week in his Crimson Tide debut.
