Three-point shooting has been a specialty of Caitlin Clark's game since her college days at the University of Iowa. Now in the WNBA, she broke another record that adds to her elite shooting ability.

Heading into Friday night's game against the Minnesota Lynx, the top team in the Western Conference with a 24-9 record, Clark was sitting at 102 three-pointers made. One more would grant her the honor of being the Fever's all-time leader in triples made in a single season.

Clark has impressed many basketball fans, both NBA and WNBA fans, throughout her rookie campaign. In 34 games, Clark is averaging 18.9 points to go with 8.4 assists and 5.8 rebounds on 42.5% shooting from the field and 34.3% shooting from beyond the arc.

It was inevitable that Clark would set the record; it was only a matter of when.

Fans finally found out when she would achieve the feat Friday night against the Lynx. With less than two minutes remaining in the first quarter, Clark dribbled her way to the right side of the three-point line and knocked down her attempt from downtown.

That three-pointer put her at the very top of being Indiana's all-time leader in three-pointers made in a season, already boosting her credibility as one of the best players the WNBA has to offer to the basketball world.

The Fever are looking to end the season strong, rolling with a five-game winning streak as a win against the West-leading Lynx would provide a huge boost to their confidence in being a threat in the playoffs, where they already clinched a spot.

Indiana currently leads Minnesota 50-45 going into halftime.
