Zaccharie Risacher And Alex Sarr Impress In Summer League Debuts

The top two picks in the 2024 NBA Draft faced off Friday night in Las Vegas, Nevada, and both left the arena with solid outings. although Alex Sarr and the Washington Wizards outlasted Zaccharie Risacher and the Atlanta Hawks 94-88.

Risacher, the No. 1 pick, led the Hawks in scoring with 18 points while shooting 7-16 from the field and 3-9 from behind the arc. He added five rebounds, two assists, and a block.

However, Sarr, the No. 2 pick stole the show filling up the stat sheet. Despite only scoring 12 points, he hit two out of his five threes, added four blocks, seven rebounds, and four assists leading the way to his first summer league victory.

Both players residing in France have caused them to not truly get the recognition and focus that they rightfully deserve. Mainly due to the fact that Bronny James has drawn most of the attention, and they just haven't had much tape playing basketball in America yet.

Now, with the Las Vegas Summer League underway, we finally got to see these two rising stars in action, and they both left fans very satisfied, with more to come.

Sarr and Risacher will both be back in action on Sunday as the Wizards take on the Houston Rockets and the Hawks matchup with the San Antonio Spurs.
