Angel Reese Turns Heads After Latest Sighting With Former LSU Teammate

Angel Reese recently notched WNBA history against the Minnesota Lynx, posting her tenth consecutive double-double during her rookie season with the Chicago Sky. Following Reese's major feat, she met with her former LSU teammate Aneesah Morrow.

The two were seen sharing a postgame exchange just before taking a picture together, via AngeandKamilla on X. Reese and Morrow both have extensive ties in Chicago.

Morrow spent two seasons in Chicago with the DePaul Blue Demons before transferring to the Tigers for the 2023-24 season. In her sole season in Baton Rouge, Morrow recorded 16.4 points and 10 rebounds.

She's been a double-double machine during her college career, serving as the most consistent piece in the Windy City during her rookie season—something Reese can closely relate to.

Reese passed WNBA Hall of Famer Candace Parker for the double-double award. Parker notched nine straight double-doubles in 2015 with the Los Angeles Sparks, and Reese has already taken over that record in her rookie season.

The rookie struggled against the Lynx, shooting 4-16 from the field, but she was still able to make her mark. Reese has been volleying for the WNBA's Rookie of the Year award this season, averaging 13.5 points and 11.1 rebounds.
