Brittney Griner Responds To Special Message From Flau'jae Johnson

Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner received a sincere message from LSU Tigers women's basketball star Flau'jae Johnson after the two recently linked up at a WNBA game. The WNBA veteran then responded on social media.

Griner recently announced a few updates in her life, such as competing in the 2024 Summer Olympics, playing in the WNBA All-Star game, and sharing the news of the birth of her baby boy.

Johnson responded to all of this news by sending Griner her blessings.

"Genuine since we met!! Congratulations on all your new blessings, Brittney Griner," Johnson said.

Griner then reposted Johnson's message while sharing the "100" emoji, showing respect for the NCAA women's basketball player.

Johnson was recently seen at the 2024 WNBA All-Star game, exchanging words with a few women's basketball stars like Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and UConn Huskies guard Paige Bueckers.

While she's competing at the collegiate level, the 20-year-old seems to have a tight-knit relationship with a couple of league stars.

The 5-foot-10 guard is heading into her third season with the Tigers, having secured an NCAA championship in 2023. Johnson averaged 14.9 points and 5.5 rebounds in her sophomore season at LSU.

Johnson will be eligible for the 2026 WNBA draft, and many believe the talented guard will be a top pick. She'll bring elite-level skill to the court and established stardom off the floor, having already secured over two million followers through multiple social media platforms.
