DOVER — Where are you in the process of owning and operating a business? Is it still a vivid dream that keeps you awake at night or are you facing obstacles in registering, staffing or paperwork?

Whichever stage you find yourself in as you are chasing your business dreams and goals, it helps to have guidance and information from people who are knowledgeable and willing to support you through the journey.

The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce presents free business development sessions, titled “Kent County Open for Business,” on the first Thursday of every month. Mark your calendar for June 6 from 8:30-10 a.m. for the next session at the Kent County Levy Court building.

Kent County Open for Business is a one-stop shop for growing your business, getting connected to Delaware organizations and partnering with agencies whose sole focuses are to help professionals like you advance in their ventures. Each session, attendees can expect to talk face-to-face with representatives from the Delaware Division of Small Business, the Delaware Small Business & Technology Development Center, the Downtown Dover Partnership, SCORE Delaware and the Kent Economic Partnership, just to name a few.

No matter the industry you’re in, Kent County Open for Business will provide critical and potentially life-changing information to advance your enterprise to the next level. Participating representatives are experienced professionals who have a passion for serving the central Delaware community and those who wish to continue making it the best place in which to live, work and play.
