Van Orden says he was assaulted outside of RNC
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Wisconsin Congressman Derrick Van Orden is accusing a protester of assaulting him in downtown Milwaukee. Van Orden posting on “X” Tuesday (7/16/24) evening, quote, “While standing in line to enter an event at the RNC today I was assaulted by what appeared to be a member of the Pro-Hamas group Codepink. A nearby police officer witnessed this assault and I understand they have been arrested.”

Former Badger Van Ginkel looks to tackle flood damage in Iowa hometown
(WLUK) -- Former Wisconsin Badgers football player Andrew Van Ginkel is helping his Iowa hometown after it was ravaged by flooding in late June. Van Ginkel, who signed with the Minnesota Vikings in the offseason, has been helping provide meals to families, helped clean up homes and organized events to raise money for victims in Rock Valley, Iowa.
