Berkeley Heights Navy 11U Storm Back to Defeat Westfield Black 11U

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — The Berkeley Heights 11U baseball team capped off their summer season with a decisive win against Westfield Black 11U on Saturday, July 20. The final score was 14-4.

The game took place at the Thomas Hughes Elementary School baseball field in Berkeley Heights. This victory marked the final game in the New Providence Green League championship.

The team members who contributed to this impressive win include Sachin Papaiya, Alexander Alyana, Brett Giaime, Gavin Neria, Gianni Phillippi, Henry Fluharty, Henry Lebedev, Joey Altavilla, Leo Begansky, Marcus Greenway, Matt Blancuzzi, and Tyler Sun.

The team was guided by coaches Jimmy Phillippi, Doug Greenway, Joseph Altavilla, and Alex Sun.

The 11-year-olds from Berkeley Heights showcased strong teamwork and skill, ending their season on a high note.
