Bikers rev up for Christmas in July
Motorcycle riders will take to the road for the annual Smoky Mountain Toy Run to provide Christmas gifts for needy children. The Christmas in July will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 20. Riders contribute $20 be rider, or $30 for two riders. Proceeds will be used to buy bicycles for children at Christmas time through Eblen Charities’ St. Nicholas Toy Store.

Alison Graf competes in U23 German Championships
Mönchengladbach (GER) – Rising senior Alison Graf of the UNC Asheville women's track and field team competed in the U23 German Championships last week. The Berlin native qualified for the 800m finals with a third-place finish in 2:10.60 in the prelims. In the finals, Graf finished seventh with a personal best of 2:09.23.
