The Colorado Buffaloes are again making headlines as they head into the second year of the Deion Sanders era. Although the team finished 4-8 last season, there's optimism that next season could bring better results.

Since last season, the Buffaloes have lost more than 40 players to the transfer portal, but their star quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, is not among them. Sanders threw for 3,230 yards, 27 touchdowns, and only three interceptions while completing 69.3% of his passes.

Skip Bayless revealed on Undisputed that Sanders is the best quarterback in the Big 12 and has a case to be the best in the entire country. He also expects the signal-caller to be the No. 1 overall pick in next year's NFL draft.

"Shedeur is not just the best QB in that conference, but he’s the best QB in the country," Bayless said. "He is going to be the first pick in the draft, and I think he's going to be really, really good in pro football. He's as seasoned and experienced a college quarterback as you are going to get."

Bayless believes that Sanders will lead the Buffaloes to the Big 12 championship. He feels the only thing missing last year was a solid offensive line. Bayless predicts that this issue will be significantly improved by adding five-star recruit Jordan Seaton, who was ranked as the No. 1 tackle in the country in the 2024 class.

Ultimately, Bayless believes the Big 12 will be challenging, but he doesn't anticipate a powerhouse obstructing Colorado, in large part because of Sanders. Therefore, it could be a historic season in Boulder.
