Sufjan Stevens has produced a new album of music for kids and babies by John Legend. My Favorite Dream is due out on August 30 via Republic, and features nine original tracks, five covers (Bob Marley & the Wailers’ “Three Little Birds,” “You Are My Sunshine,” and three bonus covers of Fisher-Price songs), and a solo piano song. You can hear the first single, “L-O-V-E,” which features Chrissy Teigen (his wife) and two of his kids, Luna and Miles, below.

The 7″ will be limited to just a clear lathe cut 7″ and a blue lathe cut 7″ (both limited to 50 copies), and the songs are getting their online premiere in this post. Vocalist Anna Troxell says:

There’s a long list of video credits for their debut single “Lost Silver” but no songwriter or performer credits, and the artist has their face blurred out in their press photo. “Lost Silver” comes with single artwork that pays homage to Type O Negative album art, and the song sounds sounds a lot like Type O Negative too. Everybody seems to agree. Too on the nose? Maybe, but they do it really, really well. The artist’s bio also references Brooklyn, as well as the hometowns of Black Sabbath, Glenn Danzig and the Misfits, and the Delta blues (more specific tributes to come? a list of Type O’s influences?):
