BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A traffic stop in Baton Rouge ended with the arrest of an alleged drug dealer. On June 28, Baton Rouge Police Department patrol officers saw a Black sedan with illegal tint headed north on North Foster Drive. Officers conducted a routine traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers smelled a strong marijuana odor coming from the vehicle.

BATON ROUGE - A garage on Coronado Drive set fire after a man improperly dumped his coals behind the structure on July 4, according to the Baton Rouge Fire Department. According to BRFD, firefighters arrived to the detached garage to see it engulfed in flames alongside a truck. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from reaching the home.
