Buena Vista Golf Course loses equipment in blaze
TAFT, Calif. --- (KBAK/FOX58) A late-June fire at Buena Vista Golf Course torched equipment needed by its operator to keep the course maintained. Chad Sorensen operates Buena Vista Golf Course. While Sorensen does not own the land, he owns everything else. That includes the thousands of dollars worth of equipment that literally went up in flames. The course employees are all on his payroll, too.

Taft Police arrested the felony suspect they had been seeking for more than a week on their second try Monday. Tyler Traylor, 29. was finally caught trying to hide in the attic of his home in the 200 block of Ash Street by Taft Police backed by Kern County Sheriff’s deputies and assisted by Kern County firefighters.
