Over 100 people attended the Embarcadero West Community Design Workshop on July 17, 2024, to learn about the proposed improvements, speak with the project team, provide feedback on the design, and hear remarks from Council President Nikki Fortunato Bas, Council Member Carroll Fife, and OakDOT Director Josh Rowan. The conversations and feedback help us better understand the issues and will inform the next update on the proposed design. Your feedback will also be summarized in an engagement report. Ohlone For Kids & Teens Wraps Up Another Fantastic Summer!
Ohlone For Kids & Teens (OFK) has concluded another successful summer, providing an enriching experience for over 1700 local kids and teens. Running from June through August, the program offered diverse activities designed to enhance academic skills and personal development. OFK was excited to partner with Fremont Unified School District and their Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P). Students who were eligible for the ELO program could participate at no cost, with over 350 students taking part this summer.
