Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese recorded her 11th straight double-double against the Atlanta Dream Tuesday. In the 85-77 victory, Reese recorded 12 points and 19 rebounds. After the game, she spoke with the media, taking a clear jab at fans who have criticized her rebounding ability.

"It wasn't all offensive like people say," said Reese via WNBA Got Game on X.

WNBA fans online have been quick to throw shade at Reese, who currently leads the league with 11.8 rebounds per game. Many people believe Reese has only been successful on the glass because she's been feeding herself off of her own misses. She clapped back at that statement after grabbing 19 boards, with only five of them being on the offensive glass.

Reese hasn't just been a star on the glass. She's battling with Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark for the league's Rookie of the Year award.

The No. 7 pick from the 2024 draft has averaged 13.2 points, 1.9 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. She's struggled in terms of efficiency, shooting 39.7% from the field, but she's been the most consistent starter for the Sky.

Reese and the Sky will be back on the hardwood Friday against the Seattle Storm, where the rookie looks to prove that she's a qualified rebounder on both ends of the floor.

The Sky are listed as the No. 8 team in the WNBA rankings with a 7-11 record.
