Senior quarterback Charlie LaMorte connected next with Wilfong on a diving 31 yard pass in the first quarter to give the Mountaineers the lead 14-0 after a converted two point conversion run the pilon by LaMorte. Sydney Padilla capped the scoring in the first quarter reeling in a 24 yard pass from LaMorte, with a failed kick, 20-0 West Orange.

The Mountaineers continuted to light up the scoreboard during the second quarter with three scores. The next score was once again from the ground, this time it was Micha Howell with a 5 yard run and a Mason Insana kick, West Orange took the lead 35-0. The final score of the half was a 43 yard pass from LaMorte to Moore, with extra point from Insana. 42-0 Mountaineer at the half.

The Mountaineer special teams added to the scoring frenzy with an 80-yard kickoff return by Moore in the third quarter 48-0 following a failed kick. "Starters Green, Padilla and Rhone were very impressive" added Grant. The West Orange defense was stingy all night and preserved the shutout.
