Wednesday will be mostly sunny and hot with highs peaking near 90 degrees which is near normal for this time of year. We’ll host light winds out of the southwest throughout the day with a very slight chance of a spotty shower or two developing in our mountains.

Overnight will dip into the low 70s with mid-90s on the way for the Fourth of July. Thursday will be partly cloudy and hot with temperatures feeling close to 100 degrees during the peak heating hours of the day.

Skies will be partly cloudy with mountain counties holding on to a few possible storms. These should be relatively short-lived and taper off in time for Fireworks Thursday night! Lows will dip into the low 70s before rebounding into the mid to upper 90s on Friday.

This weekend will be summer-like with 90s and intermittent storms locked in. We’ll keep the trend going all weekend long and into early next week.
