LSU baseball signee and left-handed pitcher Cam Caminiti was selected by the Atlanta Braves with the No. 24 overall pick in the first round of the 2024 MLB draft. Caminiti struck out 119 batters in 52⅔ innings this past year for Saguaro High in Arizona. He posted a 0.93 ERA and led the Sabercats to a state championship.
