WATCH: Interview with Jackie Leonard, founder of John Bubba Leonard Foundation

(WRBL) — Jackie Leonard, founder of the John Bubba Leonard (JBL) Foundation, stopped by the WRBL studio and spoke with WRBL’s Crystal Whitman about the JBL Golf Classic and scholarship gala being held July 12 and July 13.

The Golf Classic is being held July 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bull Creek Golf Course is an opportunity for community members to come together, enjoy a day of golf, and contribute to a worthy cause.

The Gala, held July 13, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Bibb Mill Event Center, will feature a formal dinner, entertainment, and inspiring speeches from community leaders and scholarship recipients.

Leonard says community members, sponsors, and supporters are encouraged to attend and contribute to the JBL Foundation’s mission of fostering educational opportunities for future generations and providing affordable housing through community revitalization.
