Kitchen fire extinguished at Victoria apartment

VICTORIA, Texas - The Victoria Fire Department responded to a small kitchen fire at the Summerstone Apartments, 2107 N. Ben Jordan St., at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 27.

No injuries were reported, and no residents were displaced, according to firefighters. A fan was used to clear the remaining smoke from the apartment.
