    Missing woman last seen in Louise, Texas

    WHARTON COUNTY - The Wharton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's assistance in locating Shaylen Leray McClain, who has been reported missing. McClain, a Black woman, is described as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds, with short black hair—though she may be wearing a black wig—and brown eyes.

    She was last seen on Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at approximately 10:40 a.m., walking towards Louise, Texas, on FM 1160.

    Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Capt. Wally Rodriguez at the Wharton County Sheriff’s Office at 979-532-1550.
