LUCK has struck twice at one convenience store, resulting in two lottery prizes worth a total of $150,000.

The Powerball prizes remain unclaimed, but time is running out before they expire.

Lottery players in Delaware ought to check their old tickets for two prizes worth $100,000 and $50,000 respectively.

Two people in The Diamond State purchased winning tickets for the Powerball draw held April 20.

Surprisingly, both of them bought their tickets at Shore Stop convenience store in Middletown.

However, over six weeks later, both prizes remained unclaimed.

Under Delaware Lottery rules, prizes must be claimed within one year from the date of the draw.

That means they have until April 20, 2025 to come forward.

Several other prizes are unclaimed in Delaware, including two other $50,000 wins.

The Delaware Lottery publishes a full list of unclaimed prizes online.

    TAXING TIMES

Whoever does win the $100,000, they'll have to pay taxes on their winnings.

The IRS deducts 24% for federal taxes.

However, Delaware is one of several states that does not impose state tax on lottery winnings.

Nor do California, Texas, Tennessee, or Florida.

In Colorado, a $150,000 Powerball prize is set to expire in weeks.

The winner bought their ticket at the National Essentials convenience store inside the Denver International Airport.

They have until June 24 to claim the prize.
