Caitlin Clark Used Two Words To Describe Incredible Iowa Return

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark recently gifted over 350 Nike backpacks filled with school supplies for a "back to school" event in Des Moines, Iowa. The WNBA star worked through her nonprofit organization, the " Caitlin Clark Foundation ," to help the community in her hometown.

Following Clark's remarkable gesture, she reposted the news on social media to share with her audience the impactful experience of meeting young children and positively influencing their lives.

"Amazing day," Clark said.

Clark teamed up with Nike, Gatorade, and Hy-Vee to provide the children with Nike backpacks, Gatorade water bottles, and school supplies.

Clark wants her foundation to focus on education, nutrition, and sports to further help young children excel in their daily lives.

The Fever guard is currently on a break in her rookie season as the WNBA awaits the return of their Team USA women's basketball roster from the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Clark and the Fever will return to the hardwood on Aug. 16 at 7:30 p.m. ET against the Phoenix Mercury.

The rookie's most recent outing came in the 2024 WNBA All-Star game, where she led Team WNBA to a 117-109 victory over Team USA, recording four points and 10 assists.

As she gets back to the court, Clark is entering the final leg of her rookie season, where she's been battling for the WNBA's Rookie of the Year award against her skillful rival, Angel Reese.

The Chicago Sky star is averaging 13.5 points and 11.9 rebounds per game, while Caitlin Clark has posted 17.1 points and 8.2 assists per game.
