Police say homeless man shot to death by juveniles in Shreveport
SHREVEPORT, La. - A homeless man was killed Friday night when he was shot in the head, allegedly by a group of juveniles. According to the Shreveport Police Department, about four or five juveniles were following the man and throwing bottles at him near the 3000 block of Boone Street.
Driver killed in 18-wheeler incident identified
SHREVEPORT, La. - A driver killed in an 18-wheeler incident just after noon Wednesday has been identified by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office. Isaac Zamudio Valadez, 41, of McAllen Texas, was assisting a fellow driver to disconnect a trailer from the cab when the driver backed the rig over Valadez. He was taken to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
