ERIE, PA (WJET)–The Erie SeaWolves were coming off a 6-1 holiday victory of the Akron RubberDucks entering Friday night’s game.

Standout pitcher Jackson Jobe made his return to the mound for Erie.

Jobe has been out for around two months due to a left hamstring strain.

He pitched for five innings for the SeaWolves and had eight strikeouts on the night.

The turning point of the game was a three-run homer by Jake Holton. It put Erie up 4-1.

The Erie SeaWolves won back-to-back home games over the Akron RubberDucks 6-1.

They have their series finale game on Saturday at 6:05 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans to arrive at UPMC Park will get a free Erie SeaWolves beach towel.
