WJET/WFXP– The Erie SeaWolves rode into Friday’s game on a five-game winning streak and put up their ace pitcher Jackson Jobe to throw against the Altoona Curve.

Jobe went for 5.2 innings and gave up one run.

He struck out five players in the process.

Gage Workman broke the organization’s record for stolen bases.

According to Erie-Times News reporter Tom Reisenweber, Workman surpassed the previous record of 63 stolen bases.

The Erie SeaWolves fell to the Altoona Curve 3-1.

The same teams play on Saturday at 6:05 p.m. and the first 1,000 people to arrive at UPMC Park will get a free SeaWolves winter hat.
