Missing teen last seen entering unknown vehicle at south St. Louis gas station

ST. LOUIS – An endangered person advisory has been issued after a teenager was last seen getting into a vehicle at a south St. Louis gas station late last week.

According to the St. Louis County Police Department’s advisory, the incident occurred around 11:50 p.m. on August 9 at the Phillips 66 gas station in the 4300 block of South Broadway, located in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood.

According to the police, Claire Ojeda, 16, got into a white passenger car, possibly a 2002–2006 Kia Sorento, which had two unidentifiable male occupants but no visible license plate.

Ojeda was highly intoxicated at the time. She’s unfamiliar with the city, police said. She has not been in contact with family or friends since, nor has she been active on social media.

Police described Ojeda as a white female, standing 5’5” and weighing approximately 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green long-sleeve sweatshirt, black and white vertical striped flare pants, and white sandals. Ojeda was also in possession of a dark-colored drawstring backpack.

Anyone with information regarding Ojeda’s whereabouts or knowledge of the vehicle in question should immediately call 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or contact the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210.
