    Man wanted for homicide in Dallas arrested in Prairie Village

    PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. — A man wanted for a homicide in Dallas, Texas, was found by police in Prairie Village.

    Prairie Village police officers located the suspect near 76th and Norwood Street on Saturday after receiving a call about a suspicious vehicle. When they arrived, they located the vehicle and contacted the driver.

    After searching the vehicle, police found drugs in the car and recovered a firearm that was recovered from Fort Worth, Texas.

    The driver was also found to be a felon in possession of a firearm.

    According to the Prairie Village Police Department, they were notified that the suspect was also wanted for a homicide in Dallas.

    The suspect is not being identified until formal charges have been filed.
