    Homicide investigators searching for daughter in connection to mother’s death in North Carolina

    BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) — Officials with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a woman potentially involved in a homicide investigation.

    According to the sheriff’s office, the homicide occurred at Clarks Crossing Way in Black Mountain.

    South Carolina man sentenced to life in prison for killing stepmother, kidnapping stepsister

    Deputies found a woman, identified as Lori Pallinger, dead after being called to complete a welfare check.

    Law enforcement said they are searching for Pallinger’s daughter, Danya Kathryn Dewey.

    Dewey is said to possibly be driving a 2015 Subaru Outback with the North Carolina tag KDS-3461.

    Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Dewey is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (828) 250-6670.
