    Duval County, FL, restaurants with the most violations in the last 30 days

    In the past month, Duval County has seen 302 restaurant inspections conducted by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. Wow! That's a whole lot of visits from state inspectors.

    What State Records Showed: Out of the total inspections, 173 restaurants successfully passed their inspections on the first attempt, while 129 did not meet the required standards initially.

    With a United States Census Bureau 2023 estimate of 1,030,822 residents, the dining scene in Duval County is bustling, with both locals and visitors eager to explore its culinary offerings. This makes staying informed about restaurant inspection results important for ensuring food safety and quality.

    What Restaurants Had The Most Violations: Recent inspections have highlighted several restaurants with notable violations. Casa Dora Italian Cafe and Harp's, both located in Jacksonville, topped the list with 24 violations each.

    Casa Dora Italian Cafe's inspection on July 29 revealed nine high-priority violations, while Harp's inspection on July 24 found six high-priority issues. Luckily, despite these infractions, neither establishment faced closure.

    Other eateries with notable violations include Sushi-X, Thai Spice Kitchen, and Chow's Country Buffet, each cited for 21 violations.
