Columbia Metropolitan Airport grounds flights following global IT outage
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) has grounded flights following a global IT outage Friday morning, according to a Facebook post. The airport said they closely monitoring the outage and its effects on their airline partners: United Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Airlines. They said passengers flying out of CAE Friday morning are able to check in, but they should keep in mind that flights are grounded until further notice.
